Sorry about the downtime today. I have no clue what was up with it. All I know is that after I sent an email to the server people, the site was back up and running with in minutes. Just got to love their fast response time.

Email Problems
|
Its come to my attention that for some unknown reason, the server this website is on is having problems sending emails. I don't know what is wrong but I am working on a permanent fix for the problem. I came up with a temporary solution to this problem.

Star Trek Technobable Generator

Logout Issue Fixed (Hopefully)

I noticed that when you logout of your account on this site, it still says you are logged in to your account in the page header of some of the pages of this site. I have hopefully fixed this problem. If not, please let me know.

Please Submit Fan Fictions!

I set up a place for you to post your fan fictions ( http://www.fedtrek.com/eFiction/index.php ) and I'm the only one who has posted a story there. I know there are authors out there. I don't care what the story is as long as it is Science Fiction/Fantasy related, is classified properly and has all the appropriate warnings and stuff. Database Problems

I'm having some problems with this site's database. Twice in the past 24 hours, it has crashed and I have no clue what is causing it. Its like the database is wanting to commit suicide or something.  If it crashes again, please let me know ASAP.

I've decided to not only expand the fan fiction section of this site to include any Science Fiction and Fantasy (including original stuff), but to also make it more interactive (you can now submit your own stories as well as rate and review stories all ready there). Encyclopedia has been vandalize
|
Some one or some people have vandalized this site's encyclopedia/wiki.  What they did was they added a bunch of nonsense words at the beginning of the articles. I don't know how many articles they have done this to but if you find some that I have missed, please fix them. Thanks in advance.

Encyclopedia being proof read

A person (I don't know who) is going threw the encyclopedia correcting all the typos I have made. I would like to thank them as that I have horrible spelling.
While I'm on the subject of the encyclopedia, I would like to have more people involved in helping out putting info into it and correcting mistakes. The encyclopedia is a wiki so just about anyone can contribute something. You don't need my permission to do stuff. If you think something needs to be added or changed, go a head and do it.

Site Upgrade
|
I upgraded this site's software to PHPNuke 8.1 Patch 3.3. Unfortunately, the upgrade introduced some bugs into the site that took me awhile to fix...  I have managed to correct the most obvious bugs. There may be others so if you find any, please post about them in the bug reports forum which is located at http://www.fedtrek.com/Forums-f-2.html .
Anyways, that's all for now. (I'm not in a good mode. Can't you tell?)
