Description: The Enterprise encounters a race of aliens that have a third sex called cogenitors that are treated like second class citizens.  Trip besides to show one cogenitor that they are just as capable as the males and females of its species.

Description: A probe of unknown origin cuts a path of destruction from Florida to Venesuala killing 7,000,000 people including Trip's younger sister.  Starfleet recalls Enterprise back to Earth and has to decided to send the Enterprise to a region of space where strange things happen in an attempt to prevent a future attack.
